Culebra Dream House (Casa de Suenos) is wonderful
Culebra Dream House has nearly a thousand square feet of covered veranda offering chaise lounges and a hammock. Casa Sueno is furnished with one-of-a-kind Latin American antiques and hand-crafted hardwood furniture designed for the home by Puerto Rico’s top wood craftsman.

The master suite (which has a Queen bed) provides a breathtaking view of the ocean from the moment you wake up. The master bathroom is unlike any other. The shower overlooks the bay and a private patio and garden. Open the floor-to-ceiling glass doors of the shower and enjoy the island breeze as warm water flows over you.

The great room of the main building is anchored by a fully equipped modern kitchen and bar seating around the cooking island, all overlooking the water and comfortable dining room and living room seating. Two plush full-size futons provide wonderful afternoon nap sites or can comfortably function as beds.

The second building offers two more bedrooms, a full-size bed in one and two twins in the other, which share a nicely-appointed bathroom. Laundry facilities are available for rentals of a week and longer.

Between the two buildings is a peaceful and beautifully landscaped enclosed courtyard, complete with a tropical water feature, designed and crafted by one of Puerto Rico's finest landscape architects. A courtyard bar area opens from the kitchen, allowing people in the kitchen to chat comfortably with those enjoying the serenity of the garden.

In the parking area is an outside shower, which allows you to rinse off before entering the home. Adjacent is a fish-cleaning station for anglers who have caught dinner.

Throughout Casa Sueno, imported Italian and Latin American ceramic tiles grace the floors and the bathrooms. Designer lighting, inside and out, along with unique fans in every room complete the picture of a comfortable island retreat. Beach chairs, coolers and beach towels help make visits to nearby beaches complete. A private dock owned by area property owners is minutes away and provides a delightful venue for sunset cocktails as well as dockage for Casa Sueno’s guests with boats.

The house is equipped with wireless high-speed satellite internet service, satellite television, a hardline phone (a calling card is needed for long distance calls) and a new generator that automatically engages if island power is lost, ensuring a comfortable stay. All three bedrooms have air conditioners, though they are rarely needed given Casa Sueno’s location on top of a hill,=2 0which guarantees delightful breezes coming through the home from any direction. An electric gate at the bottom of the driveway promises absolute privacy.

This exclusive property is just two or three minutes from Zoni Beach, one of Culebra’s favorite spots and less than ten minutes - primarily through bird sanctuaries – from town.

Casa Sueno is the ideal location for couples looking for a quiet secluded spot and luxury, as well as for families who desire space and comfort.

The weekly rate for couples is $2700 per week. The weekly rate for up to 6 people is $3250 per week.

To rent Culebra Dream House a $500 damage deposit is required plus a 50% rental deposit.

Hi We stayed at Casa de Suenos for a week (March -2009) and loved it. It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen ! Luxury, clean, BEAUTIFUL interiors and breathtaking view form ALL rooms.
